I think I enjoyed Liz’s story more than the first one. I wasn’t too happy with how it ended, but it did leave me looking forward to the next story. I may continue this series sporadically as a pallet cleanser.

Great fun to read...

I found reading Ice Planet barbarians between my dark and emotional reads a perfect mental boost.

The more I read these books, the more I love them. Not only is the spice absolutely sinful, but we're also getting a sweet emotional side that no one would expect from such a silly book. It makes an excellent palate cleanser between heavier reads and I will definitely continue with the series.

In this installment, the FMC is fiesty and I loved it. She didn't just accept her circumstances, she fought for herself and what she wanted. Absolutely badass.
