Tohle byla kniha, která mě donutila zpomalit a v klidu si vychutnat příběh o jedné knihovně, kde se dějí zázraky. A jeden takový malý zázrak představoval seznam knih na obyčejném papírku.

V knize se vyskytuje spoustu postav, ale ty nejdůležitějšími jsou starý vdovec Mukéš a mladá studentka Alíša. Ačkoli se to nezdá, mají něco společného - nečtou. Ale začnou, protože zázraky se dějí. Teenagerku a osamělého důchodce spojí touha a zvědavost po jiných světech a zakládají neobyčejný čtenářský klub o dvou členech.

Miluju příběhy, ve kterých mají velkou roli knihy a Knihovna malých zázraků jich je plná. Dostala jsem chuť si znovu přečíst Jak zabít ptáčka, Pýchu a předsudek a také jsem na svůj seznam připsala plno dalších knih, které mě zaujaly.

Bylo to nádherné čtení, a kdyby mě konec dojal k slzám, neváhala bych s plným počtem hvězd. Každopádně vážně stojí za to. Je to překrásný román, ve kterém knihy sbližují a pomáhají k novým začátkům.
