I loved the concept and setting, but the story itself was just... eh. There's nothing glaringly wrong with it, but it didn't stir any strong feelings in me. On paper the hero sounds sexy as sin and the heroine appears relatable, but I had a hard time connecting with either of them. They're just sort of there. The heroine's paranoia got tiring, and the little girl was kind of a brat and acted too old for her age.
