Truly and Noah
Dark/bully romance, ex’s brother, virgin FMC.
I read a review of this book and while the assault made me apprehensive to read it, the review praised the book enough that I wanted to give it a try.

The assaults though, that just made my heart ache. I for real almost cried. They’re hard to read, people. And Becca! Talk about a terrible friend- I guess she gets better after a long time.
Noah is all the red flags: mean, demanding, controlling, entitled,  narcissistic, jealous, misogynistic, and he never thinks of anyone besides himself.
I know many readers grew to love him but I didn’t. I saw him eventually putting in the work and becoming better but he just wasn’t it for me.
EVENTUALLY, I didn’t hate the book but I never loved it either.
As far as a spice rating goes, I’d have to say 5🔥

This is my first bully and CNC book I’ve read. Did I enjoy it? Surprisingly, I did. I can’t really say more than I actually liked the heroine, and the relationship growth of the couple despite their very questionable start. There’s a fine line between love and hate. It’s not a perfect love story but that’s the point. There are a ton of trigger warnings if you decide to read this book, so make sure to read them beforehand!!

3🌶️ (FTB scenes killed me). This is def a taboo book & I didn’t know that going into it. I considered DNF’ing bc I disliked Noah but I’m happy I didn’t bc it was worth it.

i’m not seeing heaven because of this book goddamn i got issues

I wish Goodreads would allow me to give 4. Something to rate books.

This book is 4.7 stars. I saw dark romance and I read the blurb and yes I was hooked.

Let me tell you— it's DARK, just in the introduction, it starts off sad when truly gets dumped by her long time boyfriend, heartbroken and trying to forget about being dumped before graduation, she goes to her best friend's boyfriend party!
AND— GET YOUR HEART IN HOLD, because some terrible things happen and that embarks on a different journey to self discovery.
There was some parts, I was like OH NO! WTH, WAIT WHY IS THAT SO HOT? OMG! DID I JUST READ THIS?
I was ping-ponging between smacking my Kindle & trying to read to see what happens next.
I really thought Noah was not remeedable but idk, along the whole journey, I tried to see him through his circumstances and how he speak the good and the bad with his actions, is just. Idk.. you get me??

This story is not for faint of heart and you have to hold on because it is dark but you find light at the end
