Jack Edwards said this book is a must read specifically for when you’re in your twenties, and I couldn’t agree more. This made me miss having close, female friendships in my life

Actually really enjoyed this, especially her insights as to getting older.

Alderton's writing is funny and witty in that classic British woman way, and it was very special to read with my three best friends, one of whom is my sister. I think anyone who values their women based friendships deeply will take pleasure and should take notes in reading this. It is nice to know that some of the pillars of girl friendships are universal.

I really don’t understand the hype behind this…couldn’t finish it, the snappy informal and sometimes sarcastic tone couldn’t conceal the fact that this book was boring & uninteresting. It felt like i was reading my journal from when i was 18 and NOT in a good way
