The main character was irritating but I was still hooked. Ending was suprising even tho it wasn't really beliveable.

I read this non stop excluding sleep. I loved it! I got so drawn into it although some bits were predictable to me I was still shocked (in a good way) at the extent of how well it was written

Starting off this book was easy to read and very well written. Simple to digest, this book's rhythm is perfect and allows for a quick and enjoyable read. No faults on the written side of things from me.

Continuing, I’ll begin to talk about the story. One that starts simple and builds nicely the further you get through the book, I couldn’t help but feel it took a little too long to get going. Following the same pattern for the majority, it was only the last 50 pages that brought the “thriller” side of things to life. Still enjoyable it just built the finale up to be one that needed to be unbelievably good.

As a thriller it was good once it got going, with more twists than the rides at Thorpe Park, keeping you reading on and on. However, this wasn’t for the best. Some twists fit perfectly and made sense. Others seem forced just to add a shock. The more and more the author tried to be unpredictable it just made things too convoluted, dulling down the original storyline. It did so well in most areas, with the build-up and endings working perfectly

The characters in this book all did a good job and fit into the story. At points through some started to become a bit samey, and others slightly predictable. Still very enjoyable though and maybe personal preference plays a factor.

Overall a very decent and enjoyable read. One that starts slow and builds to a big ending where the multiple storylines conclude. Initially, I was going to rate this a 4, but the over-complicated ending with unnecessary twists took away some of the enjoyment. Once again personal preference probably plays a part when it comes to the ending. I would recommend this book.
