Over the top just like the way it‘s described. MMC is obsessed with FMC. It seemed drawn out to me at times, especially in the beginning. For me, it lacked romantic feelings.

This was a good second book. I didn't love it as much as the first but I thought it was a good story. I do feel like the story didn't keep me interested as much as the first but I still enjoyed it. Not sure if I will continue with the series though.

No notes really, Jamie said this was an unhinged book, and guess what it was. I don’t know what’s wrong with my brain that I love this series, but I’ll keep reading them if she keeps writing them.

This was so much better than the first book. I laughed so many times. Especially about Roman being an absolute freaky boy. Luckily for him violet matches his freak 😂

I am obsessed with Roman, Violet, War, Babs, the parents, the friends, almost all the characters, but not VIVIAN. I hate Viv. I normally hate OWD, but I like the unhinged way Jamie writes it. just kill them

Here’s the thing with book two: the same thing that I didn’t like in the first book happened here as well, but there was a plus side, and that is part one. It was all about the characters’ childhoods and how they met, as well as the fun stuff they did together. Roman and Violet fell in love when they were kids, and they practically did everything together, even though he was mated to her twin sister (which might sound bad the way I’ve written it here, but there’s absolutely no love lost between Vivian and Roman). Another thing I did not like was that this book felt too long. It was 446 pages, and most of them felt like filler chapters just to get there. Overall, it wasn’t my favourite fantasy read, and I don’t think I am going to continue with this series.
