Absolutely terrible. The narration was stiff and read like fanfiction, and every single character was insufferable. I’m so glad the main character was seeking therapy, but the cuts in between the story for her therapy sessions felt so awkwardly placed.

Just don't think this book is for me. Very NA and honestly - everyone needs therapy in this and no one is mature. No one. I can't.

This book touched on loss and grief and therapy in a really interesting and compassionate way. Yet I can't say I liked this book. The sample I downloaded I really enjoyed, but as a whole, not so much. Perhaps I just wasn't in the correct mental place to absorb this book the way it was meant to be.

This book was fine. It had some nice and steamy love scenes (and generously sprinkled throughout the book), but I think the chemistry between the characters relied too much on a “primal man’s man with a strong yet delicate damsel” for my taste. The main character puts up with a lot of catcalling and sexual harassment, and the LIs don’t discuss consent nearly as much as they should.
