Wow another perfect read in this series!!! Obsessed with how the MMC pursued the FMC from the get-go and when they finally got together it was explosive. Her reluctance was totally believable, as was their third-act breakup, which gave me all the feels. NO NOTES! Will definitely reread.

Don't read this. It's a romance set in Scotland (I know, I was so hopeful) with an American girl who moves there for college after her parents, baby sister, and best friend all die in accidents. She's a really broken person, and gets involved with this guy who she's convinced she's in love with. It's like partly enemies to lovers, but then it's fake dating, and then it's rabid and violent and rough sex that just makes you cringe and wince. It doesn't get better by the end of the book. He's really authoritative and demanding, and she thinks it's love?

The heroine really bothered me in this one. Even losing the people she did it doesn’t justify the way she treated our hero. Also I just didn’t see why she was so special that all these gorgeous women around him weren’t good enough but she was. It didn’t make sense to me. What was so special about this girl? I sure didn’t see it.
