This was an incredible read, it is nice to see another perspective of WWII. The Holocaust is the main focus, but other things happening at the same time seem to be forgotten. This fantastic showed how the Soviet Union spread and took prisoners, their treatment, and how they survived. I think more people should read it for another narrative for such a dark time.
