I have hear great things about this book. I tried it on CD to listen in my car, and I have to admit the narrator's voice and narration style annoyed me SO MUCH I couldn't listen to it after a half hour. So my rating isn't necessarily about the plot, but the book on CD.

I then tried to read it, but I just could not get that annoying voice out of my head! I feel really bad because I'll bet it is a great book, but unfortunately the audio version killed it for me.

The artwork in this book was very cute, much like the story.

It had a nice flow, drawing me into Min and Ed's story. I was able to get through it very quickly.

I probably would have rated it a bit higher if the ending hadn't been so, 'Oh, is it over? Ok.' It felt like it needed just a little bit more to feel truly finished.

"Why We Broke Up" is a tale told after the break up of the lovely Min and the poplar Ed. Min goes through everything to tell Ed the reason as to why they broke up. It was several reasons, but as this story progresses you see them all.
This story really makes me remember the feeling of love and betrayal and loss. I get such vivid feelings from this book, it's one of my favourite reads. I love the story because it gives me characters that I fall in love with and it gives me ones I don't want to love but do anyways. The characters created in this story only had a short lifespan for me, the reader, but I didn't want to miss a single thing they did. I truly wanted to see the end of this story and I wanted to experience it all.
This story captivated me and I will never forget this amazing love story.

I think one of the main reasons I enjoyed this book so much is because I could relate. I too wrote my boyfriend a really long letter (5 pages front and back) when he broke up with me.

I liked the author's style. Lots of sections resonated with me, even as an adult reading what is, ostensibly, young adult literature. The ending was predictable yet still compelling. I sat in my classroom long past the students had left just to finish the book and find out what happened. Some parts even moved me to tears, which is rare.

Kul idé. Jag gillade illustrationerna mellan varje kapitel. Kändes lite långdragen dock, och karaktärerna var inte mina favoriter.

Story of love, love, love, heart break and breaking up. Why do Ed have to be such an asshole? Why do Min have to be head-over-heels in love and give her all? Oh well, not my problem.

Loved the writing. Would have loved the book more 15 years ago. (I'm so old)

Not my favourite one, but it wasn't that bad either.
