There's little to say about any individual book the series. Mrs Pollifax is charming as always, and now I don't have to regret my inability to ever visit 1970s communist Bulgaria, as I have experienced it secondhand. 

With the current popularity of eccentric elderly characters, this series really deserves to make a comeback...
