The book is Stella and Will  of their point of view . Which lets the readers see their perspective.  I think this is a beautiful cancer patient story to read. I loved i cried and loved .The book is almost identical to the movie but there are a few differences. In the book Stella talks little bit about her older sister Abby who died a trip to Arizona. Does talk about her OCD which is why is controlling with her treatments and she created her own app to. Anyway Five feet apart is about two cystic fibrosis teens who are ill and cant get within 6 feet of each other, due cross contamination can be letal to the both of them. Will has bacterial infection in his lung B. Cepacia he is undergoing for drug trail. Stella is wailing list for new lungs but if she get to close to Will she could lose her chance of getting new lungs .Stella and Will start to get close to each other when Stella convince. Will to start doing his treatment  more seriously while Stella learn to take her regime less serious. Stella had an idea to hold a pool cue or long ruler between them to take back one one foot, which become 6 feet apart that the distance they need to stay within each other. They know they cant touch. The in the book there a lot more details of their relationship is so cute and aww so many times. I really love their romance and cried when Will had to leave Stella after she woke up from her lung surgery it was so sad like he told Stella’s mom to give her the sketchbook inside has all the moments they shared and an iPad so he could FaceTime Stella and say his last words and leave it heartbreaking reading this part of the story also Poe died on WIll birthday , that was hard to rad without crying Stella’s bff from the hospital. Poe in the movie never mention he was gay or his parents were deport in Columbia but also Poe had on and off again relationship. The in the movie Stella and Will played these parts very well . This book was good I would highly recommend it, very touching story to and I didn’t want to put it down.
