SO... through a good portion of the book, I was a little bored. It was cute, but cute is boring to me. Everything was going a little too smoothly and I was about to roll my eyes when... BAM.
THAT. FUCKING. TWIST.
Okay. You got me.
THAT. FUCKING. TWIST.
Okay. You got me.
es una historia súper mona que trata temas como el dolor de pasar por un duelo, en este caso, una muerte.
aunq no m ha enganchado mucho al principio y pensaba q iba a ser un 3 estrellas, ha acabado siendo cuatro por “lo q pasa”

This book kept me on my toes to the literal last page.
Sometimes you just have to read a YA story with all the usual tropes. I think this is one of those books that you should read without knowing what's going to happen, and also be willing to stick it out. Without revealing any spoilers, I started out being really annoyed by Kyle. As one of his friends said at least once, "It's not always about you." So yeah, I was really annoyed by him. Fortunately, he does slowly learn his lesson, but it takes many tries with a few false starts. But I loved the surprises that the authors put into the story (no, I did not think it was predictable), and I really liked the ending. In many ways, this was like a Grimm's fairy tale, including the darkness and the happily ever after. If you get annoyed by YA tropes, then maybe this is not the book for you, but if you like realistic sad fiction, then you should definitely give this book a try. I had to pull out the tissues for this one!

4.5. i didn’t expect it to be this good. i loved five feet apart, so i wanted to read this. the beginning was a bit slow. but the ending was SO GOOD. the plottwist - i could never guessed that.
once upon a time i read a book with a predictable twist but i enjoyed it anyways, 4/5 stars
I won an Advanced Readers copy from Simon & Schuster through a Goodreads giveaway. I normally do not read much YA and when i do it is rarely romance so maybe this book isn't right up my alley. It was a sweet story and I read the book fairly quickly because i wanted to keep reading. That being said, i felt like there was definitely one too many "twists" if it wanted to stay grounded in some sort of reality. My biggest issue with the book was some of the dialogue. It was just simply so far from how teens talk that i stopped reading to roll my eyes. Keeping those negatives in mind, I did read longer than I planned every night so that I could find out what happens next. So i guess it was a good story with some flaws.
Wow wow wow….what a heart wrenching story. This tale about loss and finding love through it has so many twists and turns. I could not put this book down I started it and stayed up all night reading because I just had to know how it ends.
