Maggie ingen Blair has created a problem in the MacAllister clan. She has lead the women to band together and turn their backs on their men until their leader calls a halt to the war with another clan. Maggie is doing it for the right reasons but every action has a consequence and now the time is running out before the men revolt and serve Maggie's head on platter. However she didn't expect to have her long time crush Braden MacAllister by her side to help put an end to it all. Braden is a rake, a man who flits from woman to woman and it has broken Maggie's heart on more then one occasion but Maggie is no beauty and she knows she will never be able to respect herself if she gives in to his wiles. Braden though is truly seeing Maggie for the first time and even though he would love to give her everything she desires he knows the type of man he is destined to become and that is not the settling down type or is it?

Pure fun. I really enjoyed the whole story and was fascinated with Sin MacAllister who accompanies Braden and Maggie. Maggie I loved her spirit and the fact that she was so blunt. Excellent read.

Fun, quick read! No real depth or development to the main characters, and the character I liked the best was the main dude's brother. However, let's be honest: who reads trashy romance novels for the character development :) ? I do like this book for the romance and ease of the writing, and recommend it for anyone wanting to read a book they already know the ending of. If you are looking for solid character development and a plot, then this is not the book for you.

A decent read but not very impressive. I didn't warm up to the heroine or the hero very much at first. Braden grew on me as the story progressed, Maggie sadly didn't. I really liked Sin though and I'm looking forward to reading his story in the next book. The story was interesting, even funny in some parts, a sweet one but not worth more than 3 stars in my eyes.

I'm a sucker for childhood sweethearts/teenage lovers that get a chance later I thought I would love this book, but it was just decent.

The plus is that there's a lot of Sin, the hero of Born of Sin in this book. I wish that I had read this book first because it sets up Born in Sin and I would have enjoyed the books more if I had read them in order.
