It’s boring and the delivery of the jokes is poorly spoken and poorly timed. Disappointing for an actress.

Mindy Kaling is hilarious. She is so easy to relate to, sometimes I felt like she had written thoughts that were in my head. She suffered through being a dorky kid, as so many of us do, yet she grew up to be a successful comedy writer and actress. She didn't let it go to her head though, in fact I don't think she could be more down-to-earth. She talks to the readers as if they are her best friends. This is a funny, light, quick read - check it out if you are a Mindy Kaling fan!

I love Mindy on TV from her Mindy project.. but as a writer.. I found it hard to keep up with her..
Bottom line: couldn't finish this book :(
