This is the first book in the series where we really get a hint that something bigger is going on - and I'm definitely ready to see what comes. While I'm enjoying this, I definitely don't usually read series that are this long, and would have preferred things to pick up a little quicker. I'm in for the ride (and I love that this series does step up), but I don't know how long this would have kept my attention span as a kid.

En somme, même si je n'ai pas lu les autres tomes, j'ai passé un agréable moment et tout était assez bien expliqué pour que je puisse comprendre correctement.

One of the first books I read in this series so it holds a special place in my heart.
But also the Quagmire triplets + Carmelita Spats is *chef’s kiss 🤌*

as heartbreaking as the ending for this one was, it’s probably been my favourite so far, both for the emotional payoff and the inclusion of a mystery (ooo), as sad as the emotional payoff ended up being
