This was a really cute and funny read. One thing I really appreciated was that we didn't have a drawn out storyline of the MCs secretly liking each other but not saying anything. Feelings were made very clear and I appreciated that. I also really enjoyed the friendship of her sister circle. It was very real to sometimes have friends that have reached a different level or status in life and how we can sometimes put unrealistic expectations on ourselves to keep up with them, when our friends love us exactly how (and where) we are. I did not realize this was part of a series until I finished the book, so I plan to go back to Book #1 before I start Book #3.

Cute rom com, but Taylor is an annoying main character

DID NOT FINISH

Already was leaving me meh at 10 percent but then had the NFL running back aiming to have a 7.61 40-yard dash and the live interest trainer exclaiming, “oh that’s incredible!” Which it is not. At all. So I knew I’d be driven crazy by what was gotten wrong about football throughout the rest of the book so I gave it up.

I didn't realize this was the second book in a series when I started it. It read nicely as a standalone, and I could easily follow along with the storyline. Cute couple, but both of their inner dialogues were just a teeny tiny bit annoying. Maybe 4.25 stars
