Can’t say I liked the plot of this one. There seemed to be a continuity error regarding Easton and Hartley’s relationship between the last book and this one, or Easton is just plain delusional. Easton drove me nuts with his attitude and actions for most of the book, which were realistic for one struggling with addiction and hit too close to home for me. Hartley’s parents are f*cking AWFUL. As is Felicity. The resolution to the over arching conflict was…I don’t even know. Reed and Ella’s books were definitely stronger than these last two.
Graphic: Emotional abuse, Gaslighting, Injury/Injury detail, Physical abuse, Addiction, Bullying, Gun violence, Death of parent, and Alcoholism
Minor: Car accident and Sexual content
