This is the fifth book in the series and i have only been more disappointed in each book. The first book is absolutely amazing and I have read it at least 5 times. This book and the fourth book is from Easton's perspective and i was not a fan.
To be fair it was quite a while ago since I read the fourth book, so I only remember the overall plot line. And i was not a big fan because Easton's whole personality evolves around him being mysterious and secretive. So to get inside his head and understand him and his thought, kinda ruins his character for me.
This book focuses a lot in Heartlay and Easton's relationship and how they each are dealing with the car accident. Through this book Easton's whole personality has changed from the first few books, not in a character development way, but in way where it's like reading about a whole new character, which pretty much ruins if for me.i also did not enjoy the whole memorylost situation with Heartlay

Meh… didn’t love either of Easton’s books, which is sad, cuz I loved him in the first three. Loved that he was the first to bond with Ella. Super weird that they made Easton Steve’s son, and he’d kissed Ella more than once and truly wanted to sleep with her and be with her. Hartley and the whole storyline with her family bored me to tears, and FFS why is Steve still around?! I did like the Reed/Ella wedding glimpse. But what I’d greatly love is for there to be a short freebie in the future or even a novella for the twins to end up with Hartley’s sister. She cracked me up at the end saying she was gonna marry them both.
