Enemies to lovers/ I hate you, but I need you to survive/Forbidden type of romance (I was into it:D). SLOWBURN, because we don’t get to see them together together in this part, I hope they end up together in other ones. Idk why, but I loved the action from the start more, then the end of the book?

"Ok, I am going to read this book while also reading Game of Thrones #3, so I have a bit of change after all the GoT - I think reading it at work during lunch break might be good!" - is what i thought, when i started this book. I found it in the store, because of the cover. It caught my attention. Anyways...it didn't go so well. My plans on reading during lunch break changed during the week. The further I got, the more I had to read it. 4.5 stars from me, tempted to give 5. It was kind of an surprising change at some point in the book.
First: The heroine finally doesn't drool at the angel dude like a savage horny 15 year old, as often happens in these kind of books. She seems actually more like a tomboy.
Second: This book was really catching me at some point. Raffe - Raphael...either I was blind, or the author did a really well job on making this a subtle name change. I was surprised to find out, that the angel was actually the archangel Raphael. Furthermore...Frankenstein angel abominations? Turning kids into some...I don't know what? I didn't expect that at all.
I really liked the fact, that you didn't expect stuff happening, it just struck all of a sudden. At least for me, the story was not predictable.
I can recommend this book to anyone who likes this supernatural post apocalyptic stuff and I am longing for book 2 =)

Kind of cheesy but it was a fun read. I like the main character a lot. It is a bit violent but still worth it. I'll read the others in the series.
Dear Penryn, it is possible that for you this ending is enough.. BUT NOT FOR ME!!!!! Oh, come on! This is not a cliffhanger but there is still no closure... WTH is this then?! I'm sorry, I freaked out a little. This book was amazing. I loved it. That's all I can say in this very moment. I'm so full with this book right now. :D
