I read this collection as a part of my job’s “Reading for Fun” book club. Most enjoyed “Presence,” “Attachment Processes,” and “The Arrow,” however, wouldn’t recommend the collection overall. Many stories felt quite melodramatic.

This was an ok book of short stories that I felt needed to be something more in one direction or another. My favorite stories were the ones with magical realism aspects. Some of them were so plain they were almost boring. But the writing was pretty decent.
