This book screamed I-AM-PHONY-AND-SELF-INDULGENT-AS-HELL pretty much from page 1, but I persisted until 50% when I lost patience and the last tiny shred of interest and decided that enough is enough.

Not too bad of a book. a lot of the time I felt like ree was a nieve pansy. I had to remind myself that it wasn't set back a hundred years ago but something about her writing makes you think it's from a long time ago. sometime people aren't the best at telling their own stories
I would have given it 2 stars only because it was a very quick read. But couldn't get past the fact it was written like a 12 year old's diary. Seriously, how many times is she going to tell me her knees go weak whenever she kisses her boyfriend/husband. Had it not been a Book Club book, I would have never read it.
A dirty little guilty pleasure: chaste romance stories filled with the real life drama of economics, families and exboyfriends who just wont ex already. Ree Drummond does a lovely job telling her own story in the honest and friendly way you would expect from this no-nonsense mama turned Food Network star. This is a good old fashioned Cowboy Romance with cow shit, divorce and morning sickness included. The only thing missing is the Lifetime Miniseries remake, and a sequel. A perennial favorite I turn to every time my love life seems a little lack luster - this is a book I love. (Drummond also reads the audio version which is perfection)

I've read her blog and really enjoyed this book. It is a love/life story. Lots of fun to read.
I loved this book! I was really skeptical going in to it because it had gotten some poor reviews on Amazon but I loved it. It was such a light easy read and so enjoyable. I love that her voice was so honest--almost like she was telling you the story in person. I could relate to plenty of her concerns and struggles as well. I loved this book!
I like Ree and her blog. It is a cute true story. Nothing shocking or too exciting.
