I listened to the audio book of this and completely loved it! Even my hubby really enjoyed what he heard when riding in my car and will probably read or listen to it later. Ree is like the best friend you always wanted.

Such a wonderful story:)

A delicious happy ever after story that also happens to be true. What more could anyone wish for?

O.K. I shouldn't give five stars to a book that was created because of a blog. Many will question my integrity. But, I truly loved this story and hope the author plans on writing more. Sometimes its nice to just read something simple and sweet.

This is a memoir of the time when Ree met her husband, The Marlboro Man. She was a city girl and he a county boy. Hilarious laughing at some of the things that Ree had to encounter as she adjusts to a country way of life.

Annoying! Cliche-riddled!

Really enjoy Ree's blog but this book was just so/so. A LOT of repetition when she first meets her husband and they are dating - I started to think maybe she had some congenital defect that kept making her knees weak - how did she even walk around? Cute but just repeated way to many times. The struggle of watching her parents' marriage crumble was also a bit overstated; not the emotional impact - just that it had to be mentioned every few pages as if the reader would forget it was going on. I was disappointed that Ree seems self-depreciating most of the time, too. The honeymoon scenes are funny although you feel quite bad for them! A cute, quick read for romance lovers or Ree's fans.

A great book for a day at the beach, this is a quick harlequin style romance of the real life Pioneer Woman and her husband.

I'd read the entries on the "Confessionals" on her website, and almost skipped the first two sections of the book. I'm glad I didn't - the editing and additional stories in the first two sections are well worth it.

Loved seeing some recipes in the back (that's what first attracted me to her website!) but missed the photos that enhance her stories in the blog entries.

It was kiiiind of terrible...but also kind of charming. I have to love the Pioneer Woman. But the writing here is pretty ridiculous.

Cute.
