filler to read while I was trying to make myself sleep at night. Angry adult children are not entertaining.

Was expecting a fun summer read and just didn't feel like this checked the box! Got through Amazon First Reads.

Ann Garvin never fails to tickle my funny bone. Growing up, I was sent to camp for weeks every summer, so "BUMMER CAMP" is relatable, heartwarming, and a joy to read. The characters are fantastic! I think I recognize some of them. Looking to laugh out loud? This book is your ticket and well worth the price of admission.

Was an Amazon first reads book and I was between books.

2 stars for theatre kid content and talking about how the arts help disabled & neurodivergent folks. Ultimately really poorly written and I had a hard time following, often having to go back and reread sections because a switch in location or person speaking was unclear. Lots of cringy dialogue and negative self talk and ugh.

You lost me at a 37 year old saying “lost in the sauce”
The blurb was most interesting than the book.
