4.5 stars rounded up. Super unsettling with an interesting concept and a critique on society’s penchant for realistic violence and fascination with true crime. Really thought-provoking and scary all at the same time. The beginning chapters really freaked me out as someone who lives in the suburbs and generally feels safe. I didn’t feel so safe after reading the opening pages of this book lol so I’d say very effective. I also liked the reference to the Saw franchise lol

I have to admit...I was entertained.
I wasn't sure about this one for the first couple of chapters. I had to get used to the unique writing style. But when I got accustomed, I loved it.

After reading this book I needed to take a long shower and cleanse myself. The storytelling puts you in the point of view of the evil within the book. I feel like I committed these horrific and disgusting atrocities and still somehow, I couldn’t put the book down. I needed to know what I was going to do next, even though I was the villain. Extraordinary read, I highly recommend for horror genre readers.
