I wish I had read this back in 1968. It would have saved me four years service as a Navy corpsman. Lots of good advice here. My favorites:#11 Start to menstruate (Better red than dead); #22 Get muscular dystrophy when you're a kid; #45 Commit an unnatural act with Walter Jenkins (anyone remember him?); #304 Demand a recount; and my personal favorite, #425 Tell Hershey to go fuck himself.

this was a really funny read for one of my classes but it would have been so much better if i read it at 18 in 1968 because obviously all the jokes can’t last 55 years but nonetheless iconic
