This book although long it was amazing. Ward has some really killer writing skills. as i was reading it was amazed how she has managed to bring in many sub plots and also introductions of new characters and also keep us interested the whole time.
I could not put the book down and hated every moment i was not reading the book. great!!

Another brother bites the dust. Lover Avenged is Revhenge and Elhena’s story and I didn’t think I would be that into it. I was pleasantly surprised, however. Elhena was a strong female character and Ward managed to develop Rev’s character enough that by the midway point in this book, I felt like I knew him as well as any of the other brothers.
Having worked in law enforcement, I have a bit of an issue with the Rev’s occupation. That being said, JR Ward manages to write his character in such a self-sacrificing way, I can’t help but like him.
This the seventh book in the series and I enjoy them more and more as they go along.

I really enjoyed this one, I liked that there was some focus again on Wrath and that there were other plots going on besides required love interest SL. All in all, I like the story, I would just keep reading for the characters and to see where this whole situation with Lash goes. And the development of John Matthew.

This world is one of my favourite vampire worlds of all time! It’s so different to other ones I’ve read. Can’t get enough.

Does J.R. Ward get paid per word, or what? This was way, way too bloated and long. I really liked all the previous BDB books, but then the last one I read was I think six years ago. So maybe they were all like this and my tastes have changed. There was some good in this, but it was overshadowed by a lot of crap.

I'm not surprised that this is another fabulous story by Ward. I am now very eager to find out what happens with John and Xhex.
