Good novela, too bad I knew the story (event though I never saw any movie of Jekyl&Hyde)... I might have given a 4 star if the ending had been a surprise!

There's something about reading stories you think you already know and finding them richer than you expected. The strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is one of those stories. The Body Snatchers was, however, perhaps my favourite as it so directly related to a true crime I already knew and Olalla was the icing on the cake. I expect that like Dorian Gray, this is a book I shall feel the need to revisit.

Not really scary, more interesting than nightmare-inducing.
Pretty good, a bit dry. I didn't feel like Hyde was that bad, but maybe that's because I'm desensitized to violence.
