El Tao De Pooh

Anything in regards to Winnie-the-Pooh and everything related to it is going to be great. That being said I enjoyed the audiobook since Mr. Vance sounds like how a grown up Christopher Robin would sound like. There are many truths taught in this book. Also, there are many similarities in this book when comparing to other theological books and other philosophical books, which made this book kind of common.

Yeaaaa I just read this. It was my night time book. Kinda stupid but relaxing. No further comments.

This is exactly what I needed to shift my mindset. I will likely revisit this periodically.

The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff has a very appealing premise. For me, this book was a disappointment. I had hoped to gain a better understanding of the Tao, something unfamiliar to me through an exploration of Winnie the Pooh and Friends, something that is very familiar to me.

This book left me feeling judged, discouraged, undermined, and disrespected. This is not the way to enroll me in the Taoist vision. I agree with many of the other reviews that this book is too negative, even cringey to be a valuable resource for creating better understanding.

The author’s narration performance matches his blustery, judgemental words.

I would recommend this book to dedicated fans of the author only.

A book that I adore. The Tao of Pooh mixes Taoism with the delightful stories of Winnie the Pooh. Using Pooh's simple view of life, Hoff shows that Taoism is all about simplicity, going with the flow, and living in harmony with nature. Pooh represents the idea of the "Uncarved Block," symbolizing naturalness and ease. The book highlights the complicated nature of modern life against the clear wisdom of Pooh and his friends, urging readers to adopt a calmer and more balanced way of living. It's an enjoyable and insightful read that encourages thinking about the deeper aspects of life.

A charming book with the Way (Tao) explained through the Winnie the Pooh stories.

Although I liked having Pooh and Friends by my side while reading, their anecdotes, more often than not, made each Tao ‘lesson’ more confusing to understand.

I liked it. I don't know Taoism but this helped me understand it and kept it simple. I would even let my nieces and nephews listen/read.
