Well dang it, that couldn't have been it ! But, I checked my player to see if my battery died or I didn't download all of it ? No such luck that was the end, cliffhanger madness ! I am hanging here, right in the middle of Earth and Luna wondering how this smack down will go , will Wolf ever smile again, is the princess really crazy and hazy, does Cress get her love, and Cinder will she be the revolution ? Come on MM, I NEED TO KNOW !
I loved the book. I really liked how all the characters slowly came together and wound around each other. Each book gets just slightly more intense than the last.
The narrator was fabulous, I never doubted that these people where talking. It was so natural I never thought about the it being the same person.

Yes! YES!!! No slow beginning? Check. Not predictable? Check. Entertaining throughout? Mostly check (Kai and Scarlet’s chapters were a little boring—sorry). Most importantly, Thorne and Cress moments??? BIG CHECK. Thorne (and Iko) are prob my favorite characters. Out of all the leads so far, Cress is prob my favorite as well. I feel like I’ve seen a lot of characters like Cinder and Scarlet (Cress is pretty basic herself, but more so in shojo manga lol). Also, why was I actually so sad with the death in this one? It hit a little too hard 😭 damn
Long story short, this is the best of the series so far. I don’t think it’s quite a 5 stars, but it’s definitely better than Scarlet, so 4.75 stars.

This series just gets better and better. Loved this one, too.

THORNE!

He has to be one of my favorite characters. I love how he always has a witty sarcastic comeback for everything and just goes with it all. Breaking out of prison? Sure. Be on the run with a lunar cyborg? Why not. Go on a rescue mission to save a damsel in distress and then becoming one yourself? He just knows how to take things in stride and work with what he's got.

CRESS!

She's a dreamer who doesn't know how to live. She is naïve and innocent and sweet and impossible to be angry at. She is basically the opposite of Thorne. And they work so well. In this story, opposites definitely do attract in terms of partners in crime.

I found myself dreaming with Cress about Thorne. Then in turn taking everything in stride like him as well, occasionally yelling THORNE!!!! A fun and new lunar chronicle that you are sure to sink your teeth into!

Cress
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fortunately, this was so, so much better than the last book. It wasn’t just better, but also more enjoyable and captivating. I’ll move one to the next book immediately!
