I thoroughly enjoyed The Christmas Postcards by Karen Swan and give it a solid five stars.  This is a heart warming, festive read but it's not overly sweet and Christmassy.  It makes perfect reading for cold winter evenings.

I love the way Karen Swan writes destinations and brings them to life.  The chapters that take place in the mountains are particularly breathtaking and immersive in this novel.  Its obvious that a lot of research took place to write these scenes.

Great characters and atmospheric writing make this a captivating read that I just didn't want to end.

Thank you to The Pigeonhole and Karen Swan for the opportunity to read this as a serialisation over the last 10 days

I love Karen Swan books, and this one was no different!

I loved it from start to finish. It was really quite tense and gripping at times. Not something you would typically expect from a book like this! I mean, you would expect something lighthearted and breezy, but this really wasn't.

I loved the characters. Well, Natasha and Duffy anyway.

Without giving too much away,  I loved reading about Duffy's side of the story. The descriptions of the scenery was superbly done! Really made it easy to picture the scenes.

Thank you to PH (Pigeonhole) and Karen Swan for the chance to read this book.
