Y’all, I love me a good Christmas Debbie Macomber book, even though it’s only May. This one was okay, but the characters really irked me at times. They were both so fickle and temperamental, and I felt like I was getting whiplash from their mood changes every 10 pages.
Overall though, it was a cute story, and I enjoyed the ending. I can’t wait to slowly make my way down her list of books!

Enjoyed the bonus book "in the spirit of...Christmas" by Linda Goodnight more and will probably reread it each Christmas.

I read the first story, which was by Debbie Macomber, and started the second one, which was not. I thought the second one was starting off kind of stupid and it wasn't grabbing my attention. I'm not sure why publishers do this ... put two stories by different authors in the same book. Are they trying to give a lesser known author a leg up?? I kind of wish they wouldn't. I wasn't that interested in the second story to keep going.

I was prepared for a cheesy love story, but I was angry at several things... ok, he's 40 and she's much younger, okay fine, but did she have to be so immature? Did he have to be such an ass? ugh!

This was a good Christmas story but I have read better stories by Debbie Macomber. The second story was equally good.
