He's right, but he's not interesting.

This was a very hard book to read. I wish it was translated into easier to understand english. Other than that I loved the ideas the essay conveyed. Living is rebellion. I will definitely read this book again in the coming years when I have gained more knowledge and can fully comprehend more challenging books/language. Albert was a legend.

I didn't quite understand all the references Camus was making, but reading this back-to-back with The Stranger definitely kick-started me back into reading from a slump, especially during an interesting time in my own life. This is definitely a book I hope to come back to in a few years, with an even deeper understanding and appreciation.

i like the ideas but i just find the writing so convoluted and it’s hard to grasp everything when i don’t know all the references
challenging reflective slow-paced

The best parts are poetry rather than philosophy.
