Another great DC book. What I appreciate about DC's books is that they are predictably good without following a pattern. They're all a little different yet always enjoyable. A few hours after I finished this one I felt like good friends had just left from a visit.

Well written with good characters, but saw the ending coming from a mountain range away.

It took awhile for me to get into this book. I almost put it down. The last half was really good. I would give it 3.5 stars.

Hooked again. As with all her novels I have read, this is a great story with twists and turns. Although I thought the outcome was clear from the start it was still a great escapism of a read and I loved it. Not great literature but the rest of the world blurred for a while while I lived in this book. Fabulous!

Man. I am very torn on this review. There was several explicit sexual scenes in this book that really troubled me. Chamberlain could have easily gotten across the point she wanted to make without the details that she gave. Without these, I think this could have been a 5 star book.

There were so many good themes in this book but the explicit nature overshadowed some of the greatness. Adoption, family, forgiveness, secrets, and the right to die were so well covered.

wonderful book. started the book this morning and could not stop reading it.

This is one of those books you just get totally lost in. A complicated family story that simplifies the definitions of love & family. Loved it!

Maybe 4.5 stars for me. I really enjoy Diane’s writing style, characters, and dialogue. It kept me interesting in reading without being stressful. Good book.

Somewhat disappointing, the main character, Molly, is not really believable. "Pretend" therapy? I guess it could work. Molly's Dad is her hero. He's the psychotherapist who conceives of the concept. He's in a wheelchair w/ MS by the time she is 14 and rebelling. That part was probable. Oh well another dysfunctional family...
