Dark, dark romance

Great standalone

So dark, so twisted, so perfect! This story pulls you in and doesn't let go. Isabella and Javier are the poster couple for dysfunctional and it's amazing!

Aah! Thank God this is over!

Serves me right, though, with my OCD.

I have a thing with books; I rarely leave them unfinished no matter how torturous they are to continue.

Jesus!

The author warned that this was "dark" and maybe I'm a such a messed up person that nothing fazes me anymore, or this book wasn't dark at all or at least not enough to merit a warning.

It also wasn't entertaining,

despite the praises of it from some of my book friends.

The heroine was sooooo boring! Her backstory and development and "conflict" were so fucking snore-worthy.

Jesus Christ. And she didn't wait for long to "fall in love" with her captor.

Um, girl, you do realized that this man kidnapped and is torturing you, right?

At least, wait a few chapters before ogling him and letting us know how "attracted" you are to him...

Both of the protagonists were so dull. Their motivations were seriously lacking as well as their chemistry.

Was gonna give it a one-star but the epilogue deserves a star.

That was nice "twist" at the end, lol, you almost got me feeling something for the heroine for a second...

Wow

What a story. I loved everything about it, especially that ending. I was like oh my gosh, I can’t believe you gonna do me that way right at the end. Yes, this is a stand-alone, though you are left with the feeling that there’s someone else’s story to be told next and I can’t wait to read it.

Ever had a book that sucked you in and left you breathless? Ever had a book that completely drags you in the deepest and darkest edge?Ever had a book that completely questioned everything about your sanity? Beast was that book for me. A deeply rich, dark and foreboding modern retelling of a classic story. This book was just perfection. A. Zavarelli is one of my favourite authors and she wrote a truly fantastic book with elements of dark that shocked me to the core.

Beast was a book like no other. I was sinking deep with this book to point that I only thought about this book all the time. It was a cult classic of dark excellence that really gave me the chills from beginning to end. I was blown away. It was crazy. It was totally psycho insane. It was a dark phenomenal. It was gripping. It was intense. It was a beautiful chain reaction of epic proportions. Beast completely touched the crazy and dark corners of my heart. What a book. What a gritty and epic down right spiral of perfect craziness. It definitely took me for a ride. A. Zavarelli definitely wrote a super nova of a story with an exquisite flair. She outdid herself on a whole another level.

We meet Isabelle, a young and innocent soul and Javi, a very evil guy with a quest for vengeance. Isabella and Jav had that intense and chilling chemistry that not only excited me but it made my jaw drop. There was something thrilling about their thoughts and emotions together that sparked. Isabelle was so naive but there was strength to her that I loved. Javi is an insane anti hero. A beast of a man with an evil and dominant edge. But man oh man, I loved it. Damn. It kinda scared me in a way but a good kind of scare.

A. Zavarelli gave me an unforgttable mafia story but she proved that she can write just about anything. Beast is a testament tot that. All I can say is GET THIS BOOK NOW!!!!!!!

Oh my God...

I honestly have no idea where to start - even if I start from the beginning, there are no words I can form into complete sentences to explain how "Beast" managed to strap me down, used a scalpel to cut open my chest, only to cut open my heart, take residence inside my heart, sew it close from the inside but leave my chest open...it is a dark and twisted read (fair warning in the beginning) but give it a chance, you will feel something at the end of the book.

Holy s**t this book was SPECTACULAR!
Not only is Beast the best book I've read with a twist and slant on a favorite fairytale story but it's now one of my all time best reads!
Ashleigh once again rocked it and knocked it out of the ballpark!
The characters are not only well developed they are intriguing and fascinating.
The storyline is original, gripping, dark, suspenseful and very captivating.
It is written to perfection! While reading I could see each characters personality come to life,I could hear Javi's accent. Every word written has its place and is vital to the story.
Ms. Zavarelli is a master story writer and her books are always epic.
But Beast is a masterpiece!
If your a fan of Ashleigh's then of course Beast is a must read!
If you love dark and suspenseful this is a must read!
If you love fairytales that are twisted and depraved this is a must read!
