The Kindle/ebook version of this is unreadable. The font is too blurry. I can’t double-click on the panels to expand them. DNF at just a few pages in.

Beautiful story and characters. The art was stunning, really captivating and wonderful to linger on and find meaning within. I was impressed by just how far the story went and how well developed each character became. Few graphic novels and only rare sci-fi/fantasy can deliver so much and maintain an unbusy, beautiful aesthetic and plot.

This is a brilliant graphic novel in both plot and art style. I really enjoyed the story, the characters, and their development. The way the author uses colours and tones is expressive and gorgeous. Highly recommend and will be reading more from this author.

Gentle, quiet moments. Beautiful art. About emotion. Science fiction in the abstract.

I can't remember exactly when I read this. It stuck with me.

really beautifully illustrated/colored but the story itself turned out to be a nothingburger by the end. the stakes never feel that high and we’re never given much in terms of character development or interiority. the dialogue in some instances already feels dated or just sounds straight up puerile (i know the principal characters are young, and i’m all in favor of characters having distinct voices, but quirky naivete needs to be paired with other defining traits!). i loved the world itself and feel like the characters work well as, like, first drafts. just wish there was a bit more meat to chew on with this one!
