Absolutely incredible. Tillie Walden is such a talented illustrator and storyteller, but this book in particular is stellar. The inks are loose, the colors are monochromatic, the details are fuzzy, and it all feels intentional. It's not "I was rushing to finish this story" but more "this is how you should feel when reading this story". I don't know how to explain it, you'll have to just read it.

I wasn’t sure how the two timelines would come together (if it was flashbacks or if there was going to be a sci-fi time travel element) but I did really enjoy this book once I figured that out.

The artwork is beautiful and I loved the use of color throughout. Most of the settings have a limited color palette to set the scene so it’s really impactful where they choose to break that

Ehhh. I don’t think I really connected with the characters— it’s so tough with a cast of characters in a graphic novel to get enough time on the page to develop them.

I did love the world building!
Magical scifi realism

Cute and quick. I felt like it was trying to focus deeply on all of the characters on an emotional basis and at times it just get too much. The art is absolutely beautiful and the overwhelming story is cute.

really liked this! cute and compelling and pretty art! take this review as a formal apology to my best friend who told me to read this four years ago and who i fully ignored <3

ah could spend so much time reading about this world

LGBTQ space opera ya graphic novel? Hell yes. This was epic and beautiful. It was magical and original and I loved it so much. It was super weird at times and the characters were so good. I loved the two timelines that eventually met up. I want everyone I know to read this!
