This book made me want to write poetry about the food I eat. Or the tea I drink. It was a beautiful little book and I think I'll buy a copy. My only complaint is I didn't like all the poems as much as I would've liked and also it was so short. 28 days is not enough...

I read an entry a day every day this month (after catching up for the first week) and it was lovely. The short stories were my favorite.

It feels strange to rate this book, it's a lot more personal than I thought it would be, although I may be biased considering I love honey more than most things. It's exactly what it says on the tin; Amal El-Mohtar's musings on the honey she sampled over the course of a month. Give it a read if you enjoy honey, and even if you don't, give it a try anyway. It's delightful.
