Great book to read in Highschool or probably junior high. I remember it being one of the first books I loved!
Wendy is the ultimate mean girl. Jill who was on her side slowly, painfully slow, realizes this. Then the girl that was being bullied Blubber, turns into a bully. Things slowly dissolve out and no lesson was really taught. So maybe discuss this with your children after they read it, make sure they know just because Wendy is popular and liked, it's fake and out of fear, what they all do is freaking wrong.
I am entering the world of audiobooks to listen to while I work. I have a hard time concentrating so I started with an easy and familiar book. This brings back so many memories! I wonder if kids these days are still reading this one.

Kids suck. Hated this book. Not a great intro to Judy Blume.
