Lots of twists and turns - a good thriller told in multiple timelines.
I'm going to apologise now because this is going to be a bit of a mean rant. I had to read this book for a book club and by the time I finished all I could think of was the following...
The List Of Reasons Why I Hated This Book
1. I was expecting a "secret society" to be a lot more sophisticated than this was. This was mean girls meets frat boy idiots. (Maybe I should of managed my expectations better with this one).
2. I would expect two sisters who got into Princeton on their own merits to be significantly smarter than these two were. Every choice they made was the most idiotic option.
3. The whole thing read like a YA novel when I think it was supposed to be for adults?
4. The different timelines were a struggle when both characters voices were almost exactly the same. All of these girls had the same personality.
5. I didn't like a single character.
6. There were loose threads still left hanging at the end of the book.
I'm off to bleach my brain with something else now.

I liked this, it was an interesting twisty setup with mixing timelines and two POVs. Pretty good, especially for a debut book.
