How far would you go to fit in? Society of Lies is a gripping 5-star thriller that instantly gave me The Skulls (2000) vibes. Set in an elite school with a secret society at its core, this story dives deep into the cost of belonging, ambition, and buried truths. With deaths, deception, and unraveling secrets around every corner, it’s a true page-turner that keeps you guessing until the very end. Dark, twisted, and impossible to put down.

This was a Reese's book club fail. I did want to know what had happened, so I finished the book, but it was a slog. Also I am pretty sure the altitude in Bretton Woods NH vs NYC is not such a difference that it would affect processing of alcohol or anything else. Eugh. And after that when I got to the end it wasn't even a satisfying reveal and resolution.
