This is a heart warming story, with well written and likeable main characters. The plot moves at a good pace and the story kept me interested.

I did struggle with the author's style of writing, for me it comes across as a little stilted but this is a personal preference rather than a writing issue. It feels is as if the narrator (which is alternately the heroine and hero) is speaking to me, rather than me 'listening in' on their thoughts, if that makes sense. Occasionally the dialogue doesn't feel natural or flowing either and these two things made it difficult to 'get into' the story. I did find that the flow of the story seemed to improve as I continued reading, so it is worth persevering with the book.

The chemistry between Ally and Ethan was good and I did enjoy their developing relationship. I loved that it wasn't all insta-love but that they had to overcome their own issues and so grew both as individuals and eventually as a couple. I did feel the ending was a little rushed, but it was still very emotional and powerful.

The author is clearly talented and, whilst it was just a 'good' read for me, clearly other readers really liked it.
