Adam and Liv are fated.

This is my first book from this author and I was so excited to read it. I actually held out Until I got a paperback copy to read it too.

I love the whole idea of the soldiers and what they stand for as well as their game of consequences.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between all the boys and how they all play a very important part in the group for it to work so well.

These two characters have a lot of chemistry and spicy scenes are hot. I loved how they met when they were younger and how it came full circle. I though that was beautiful.

This was an enjoyable story and I like the writing but it took me forever to get into it. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a mood reader and maybe I wasn’t in the right mindset but yeah.

I’ve decided to rate this 3.75 stars because there were certain things I didn’t like or struggled with such as I found it difficult to connect with Liv and Adam.

I also didn’t like how Adam seemed to be all talk about him being a Psycho and I definitely didn’t understand how a professional could possibly take out the wrong guy. That didn’t make sense to me.

However, I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Skip

I didn’t hate it but I’m not interested enough to keep going. The characters and their characterisation bothered me. That’s enough for me idk if I’ll be bothered to give this author another go

I finished this book really fast, which isn't uncommon for me when it comes to dark romances. I really enjoyed the stalker part and I especially liked the middle of the book. The last 100 or so pages I got kind of bored and started skimming to get to the good parts, but generally it was a pretty good book.
It wasn't too much darkness either, to be honest. Sometimes I did feel like it took itself a little too seriously with the whole Soldiers thing, but it wasn't so bad that I got really annoyed.

Okay the book is not bad. I feel like I always look for a dark stalker romance similar to Haunting Adeline, and I don’t think this is it. I didn’t really fall in love with Adam and Liv. I liked that she was strong and resisted him. But I don’t know I just didn’t feel it. And I skipped a LOT of pages. Her brothers were nice though :)

Adam is a stalker and he is in like a gang where I guess they protect the people of the town. He meets olivia while on a task and he talked to her and she didn’t like him. She would tell him no but he insisted on them being together. They knew each other since they were little ? He wanted to kill a guy but he got his twin and the guy he actually wanted kidnapped liv and then he tried to save her, but got shot, but his friends “the soldiers” came and help him

Even though it was a stalker romance, it felt so real and just perfect in their imperfections. Loved this book!
