It was a bit repetitive, and I found Liv to be quite annoying. I came for the vibes and I kind of got those, but I heavily skimmed through the later quarter of the book just to get through it.

4.25 stars for this dark AF romance!!

Holy smokes! This was riveting. I was on the edge the entire time. If want a smoking hot, steamy dark romance, this is for you. Bonus points for if you love a damaged anti-hero with a dark and sad past and a heroine with gigantic lady balls!

Adam and Liv are Fire in this book! From their first encounter their chemistry bleeds off the page. And while Adam is as dark as they come, with just about no Fs to give, Liv can match him blow for blow, which I find so gratifying in a romance read.

Adam, along with his group of merry misfits - all so different but whom work so well together - take their own form of vigilante justice on the absolute worst scum. And they love it. It fuels them. It pushes them… And while the rest of them are constantly on the prowl for fresh meat (ladies who date their personal desires), Adam is more particular when choosing a girl to bed… and he is practically hit over the head when he meets Liv. He knows immediately that he wants her and she literally couldn’t care less.

So, where does that leave Adam, with his skewed moral compass? It leaves him with no other choice but to stalk his prey until she realized that THEY WILL HAPPEN!

This book is dark! It is sexy! Seriously, the heat in this book is combustible! Thank you SO MUCH to Nikki J Summers for providing me with an arc in exchange for my honest review.

I really wish I knew this was a spin off of her other series, I would have liked to read that first as this book is chalk full of mentions of characters from it, although this can be read as a standalone.

This was a wholesome stalker romance. As far as they go, it was quite tame. It’s not as dark as I thought it was going to be however there were moments that had me squirming.

This had a strong FMC and I loved her!

Holy smokes.
My first stalker-y book but WOW, was it great!
Definitely a MUST read if you like book dark and spicy.

I actually enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I was going to. It’s not 100% on par with my favourite books, hence the 0.25 loss of a star but I’ll definitely read it again. I’ll also definitely read more books by Nikki.

*After thinking more about it I actually really enjoyed this book so upped the rating from 4.75 to 5.

Seeing the word ‘nonce’ in a romance book really threw me off tbh. Adam was an actual softy and I loved him, I feel like for it being a ‘stalker’ romance we didn’t get much actual stalking? Liv was actually pretty chill about it I thought, but I would have liked some more of her POV to drive some of the plot home. The spice was present and correct, I loved the little bit from when they were kids, but it’s another one where I wish there was just a bit more given - liv is all ‘I’m a baddie watch out’ but then never does any ‘baddy-ing’?
