I enjoyed a great number of poems in this collection. However, some of them are just too complicated for me and I had a hard time keeping up with the topic changing every line or stanza. Might have to give this another read in the future because I do like the writing.

Read for Contemporary American Poetry. I would give it a higher rating because there’s a great amount of control of sound and image, but most of the poetry is beyond me. That’s not a criticism of anyone but me.

Oddly I highlighted sections of the ebook and they were saved here. Hm...Big brotherish. But I am glad that they are saved. Not sure if you can see them but they are mostly just quotes I liked.
