I love the illustrations in this one. They feel like beautiful water colors.

Notes: Korea, tiger, small girl doing big, brave things.

Respect, strength, and dignity... that's what tigers represent to the Korean people. Soe-in may be just a tiny child, but she makes up for what she lacks in size through cleverness and bravery when the spirit tiger threatens her village in this vividly illustrated tale that both children and adults will be able to take something away from.

The story is inspiring, the protag is adorable, and the artwork is phenomenal. A perfect story to teach small people that they can accomplish big tasks.

An amazing book for your kids (and yourself!) by an amazing author / illustrator to keep your eye on! In love with the colors and imagery in this book. A fun, adventurous tale about how anyone can be a hero no matter how small.

A beautifully illustrated picture book about a folktale about the Korean tiger as a protector. It's gorgeous and adventurous and I loved the story. Really neat.
