It’s a book about doctors appointments. Over and over again. If that’s compelling to you pick this up, but to everyone else, skip.

This first Stranger Things novel takes us back to Eleven's conception and the events that were happening at the Hawkins lab at that time.

Great for Stranger Things fans to get even further insight into what a bastard Papa is and how tragic Eleven's backstory is

I was so excited for this book, I'm already a huge fan of the stranger things series on Netflix. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the book. There were times where it was really good and interesting and I couldn't put it down but it wasn't what I was expecting. If you're a stranger things fan then it's still definitely worth a read, it's nice to know what happened before El and the gang were on the scene.

It was fine. I did really like the romance between Andrew/Terry, and the whole group of lab people. I just found the writing to be a bit tired and dragging. All in all, it was a fine book.
