At first I felt disappointed with the ending of this book, however, I’ve come to love the way it ends such a crazy series in a somewhat satisfying way.

Here’s the thing, I loved this series. Genuinely. It’s so delightfully weird and fucked in ways that beg you to keep reading. This book is written the same, and I enjoyed most of it. But there’s one scene in the last quarter of the book where a Bene Gesserit rapes a ghola child and it lost me. Stop at the end of book 4

Slow...I get it Dar you have a lot of decisions to make that weigh on you....
slow-paced

Least favorite book in the series. Which sucks because heretics was my favorite. Nothing happened in this book. There were times I listened and had to go back because I was zoning out. Also parts of it didn’t make sense. Huge disappointment.

A fantastic and mad ending to the series. Well worth it.
