Francesca is promised to the evil mafia king's son and taken to Italy to marry. But what happens when the king has desires and she can fulfil all his fantasies?
This was good. I enjoyed the story. I did find it quite fast to swap with FMC to the son and then the father. I thought it would have been drawn out more. I also think I struggled with the audiobook from the male perspective. There is quite a bit of Italian spoken in the book with little translation. As I’m not reading a physical or an ebook version, I wouldn’t even know how to spell the words out to look up what the characters have said. I do love Francesca and her feisty side. The spice was delicious. The MMC Fausto, I have a love-hate relationship with, his thoughts about the FMC and how he is addicted to her I’m obsessed with but then he was an asshole and treated her like crap then left her places as punishment. I didn’t connect with the relationship and I think that’s why I didn’t enjoy the mistress dynamic going on. The book leaves on a cliffhanger and I may pick up the next book soon.

Really enjoyable and spicy! Though I did not take a special liking on the protagonists. They were fine, at best. Fausto was an absolute ass, he was way too controlling. And that’s coming from me who usually enjoys grumpy-possessive MC. while Francesca was…kinda annoying 70% of the time. I just didn’t get why she half-assed everything. Her escape attempts and such. Also her constantly lying to herself was pretty damn repetitive and boring:( But I did enjoy it a lot nonetheless!
